With over five years of experience in the nonprofit sector, I developed a deep commitment to supporting individuals through life’s most challenging moments. This work led me to pursue a Master’s in Social Work and dedicate myself to the field of psychotherapy.
As a Middle Eastern Muslim therapist, I bring a culturally grounded and faith-sensitive lens to my work, with a strong passion for serving the Muslim community and other ethnically and culturally diverse populations. I have a particular interest in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, and I ground my approach in the principles of trauma-informed care, relational connection, and compassionate presence.
My clinical work is guided by empathy, cultural humility, and a genuine curiosity about each person’s unique story. I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to move toward healing and growth. It’s an honor to walk alongside those doing the courageous work of self-discovery and transformation.
